National Sales Manager
Eric leads training and development initiatives, such as the DiSC-based sales model and multimedia training modules. Eric helps communicate and integrate company goals, policies, and award incentives among the managers and dealers who bring the Maximum Farming System to the farm. His primary focus is to support the growth of the Ag Spectrum independent dealer network. He came to Ag Spectrum in 2009 after serving as a regional manager for Precision Planting, where he worked with 250 dealers in 27 states, supervising corn planter part sales. Eric was raised on a diverse crop and livestock operation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Ag Economics from University of Missouri. Previously, he worked 13 years with Farmland Industries and as a private consultant to ag retailers.
Andy joined Ag Spectrum as a District Sales Manager in August 2015 and serves our Associates in Ohio. Andy received his bachelor’s degree in Crop Science from The Ohio State University where he also studied Ag Business and Applied Economics. During this time he worked in Indiana for Crop Pro-Tech Inc. After graduating, Andy worked in production agriculture with a large corn and soybean grower in Central Ohio. Eventually, he took the position of District Sales Manager for Stewart Seeds, where he prospected, provided agronomic support regarding seed placement and provided growers with customer service, developing a new territory in Ohio. Since that time, he has held sales, agronomy, and sales management roles with Monsanto, Syngenta, and most recently with AgReliant Genetics, where he served as the Regional Team Leader with Great Lakes Hybrids for six DSM’s in Ohio. Andy and his wife Carrie reside in Centerburg, Ohio with their six year old daughter, Danica.
Mitch attended North Dakota State College of Science and the University of Mary. He has held sales, agronomy, and sales management positions with several ag and seed companies mentoring new employees and making recommendations regarding chemicals and seeds tailored to each client's need. He worked as the District Sales Manager for Proseed, Prairie Brand Seed, and then for Pinnacle Agriculture. Mitch has 20 years of experience providing agronomic and sales support to farmers and sales representatives. As a District Manager for Ag Spectrum, Mitch is equipped to lead Associates by educating them about the Maximum Farming System.
A native of central Illinois, Pat grew up on a crop and livestock farm near Macon. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with a concentration in both Farm Management and Agricultural Marketing. After college, Pat entered the seed industry, first working for a small family seed company in Sullivan, IL. A year later, beginning a 37-year career with Pioneer Hi-Bred, which later became DuPont Pioneer. For most of those years, Pat was a District Sales Manager leading a team of independent sales representatives in central Illinois, and also working directly with farmers. When Pioneer was purchased by DuPont, he had dual responsibilities for marketing and servicing both seed through independent sales representatives, and crop protection products through ag retailers. In 2009, Pat accepted a key account role working with professional farm managers in the eastern U.S. with a primary focus on Illinois and Indiana. He built many strong relationships among these customers. After leaving DuPont Pioneer and joining Ag Spectrum as District Manager, he was awarded the 2017 "Service to Agriculture" award by the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ISPFMRA). Pat resides near Mt. Zion, IL with his wife. Most of his personal time is focused on the family farm, with which he continues to be involved, and on spending time with his family, including grandchildren.
Greg joined the Ag Spectrum team to provide leadership and support for Area Managers and Associates. Prior to joining Ag Spectrum, Greg was editor of Ag Web, the website division of Farm Journal Media. He first joined the group as editor of their magazine, Top Producer, in 2007. Greg’s passion for serving agriculture began at a young age while accompanying his father (a writer for Successful Farming magazine) on business trips where he experienced various types of agriculture. Growing up, Greg worked on his uncle’s farm in southeastern Iowa during the summer months before earning a degree in Agriculture Journalism from Iowa State University. He began his career working in ag marketing with advertising agencies and is the former editor of Dealer & Applicator, a magazine for fertilizer and chemical retailers.
Rob joined the Ag Spectrum team as a District Manager after working with Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. for 6 years as both a farm manager coordinator and an account manager. Rob received a bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Iowa State University and his MBA from the University of Iowa. He is active as a Polk County Fair board member. He served the Iowa 4-H foundation as a board member from 2012 to 2018. Rob and his family are also very active in the meat goat industry in Iowa. He served as the President of the Iowa Meat Goat Association from 2013 to 2014. With more than 30 years of relationship-based sales and management experience, Rob provides valuable support to Ag Spectrum's Area Managers and Associates.
